Is that hind 1/4 or whole ones cut to 1/4??
I used to do 1/4 chicken and 3 ribs...but found it to just be TOO much food and guests were not eating and throwing it away. Not ALL guests but enough so that I decided to change serving amounts.
Now I put ONE piece of chicken and 2 ribs...(unless actually ASKS for more) for the first time through the line. With the 3 sides, this is a 'plate full' of food. Then when they come back for seconds, if the do, they can serve them selves, after the first time through, we don't do portion control' any longer. The left overs are 'free game' as they say. We leave everything out while we are packing up to leave. When we are all packed up, we ask the host/hostess where they want the leftovers and we are out of there. _________________ Often imitated but never duplicated |

It all depends on what the cusomer wants...leg quaters are cheaper, but we can accomodate anything. We do alot of chicken pieces (128ct) so that there is a variety of chicken. But once again, it is up to the customer... _________________ Kevin "Corndog" Cameron

Stars and stripes. What do you have running on your computer in the way of browser, excel etc.
If you have IE 6+ you should be able to open the .xls file by going to here it should open in your browser, if it doesn't you may need to allow bbq-review in your IE settings as an allowed site and this should then work.
The other way is to download Open Office a free office suite, install it on your computer, then open a Calc file.
I can also send you the file to an email address if you want to email me an address I can contact you on.
Without knowing more about your system, I can't offer much more than these chances that may help. _________________ Here's a change Robert.

Hi idzeroone.
You're welcome.
I never thought about that, perhaps I'll put a donation button on bbq-review, I will look up the Paypal code this evening. Thanks for the offer, and the idea! _________________ Here's a change Robert.

Worked through a few kinks on the code, found the point to insert it, so there are now "Paypal donate" buttons on the headers for www.bbq-review.com, so anyone who feels the urge to donate can do so.
Thanks for the idea idzeroone! _________________ Here's a change Robert.

http://www.bbq-review.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10 The latest version of my catering planner is up and about, a couple of corrections and I have made it even more customizeable on some of the sections.
This is version 3.01 issued 09/11/07.
There is going to be an additional version with an executable file that will allow you to pick selections and print a page with those selections on it, in the not too distant future.
Still free to download and free to use. Enjoy! _________________ Here's a change Robert.
