Southern Yankee rotissery pit

I am looking at a Southern Yankee Rotissery pit. Does anyone here have any professional oppinions on these? Are they worth the $$ ????

IMHO....only if you like picking up food off the bottom of the pit.
Some of there models are notorious for flipping the shelves while cooking.

I can honestly say I know a guy with one which produces very little smoke flavor in comparison to my Lang, but - I have no idea what kind of wood he uses and for all I know he uses his oven for most of the cook??!! So my review is useless...lol
