My doors on my rf leak a little bit of smoke, I have been seeing a lot about people using gasket material silicon and fiberglass rope! Not real sure which one is best. Any suggestions ?? Thanks ringers.

Smoke1320, if your doors are just leaking a bit then the silicone will work best for your application. The gaskets will most likely be too thick to apply and cause your doors to hinge bind.
1.) Clean the door flanges of all grease so that the silicone will stick.
2.) Apply plastic wrap to the chamber opening so the silicone makes contact with it and not the chamber metal.
3.) Run a good bead of silicone around your doors on the flange and gently close them, do not push on them just let the weight of the door do its job.
4.) Let cure over night, open and trim any excess off.
I have started using this, they sell it in single tubes at the store.
I hope this helps. Very Happy

Take KAM's advice, no need for rope. I used the exact process he described, and my door doesn't leak at all. Dont be afraid to run a thicker bead in places where you might have a larger gap, the stuff is very strong once it sets up. Good luck.

From memory there is one type that runs up to about 800° and another that goes as high as 1200°, can't see the info on the one k.a.m. posted.

Thanks. I was thinking RTV was 8-1200 degrees but had no idea what construction silicon would withstand. Getting closer to nearing my completed offset so door gaskets are something I'm thinking of now
