I think it's probably a little much but I kept the plugs and if I want I'll just drop a couple through from the top and weld them back in. The cooker I'm building is on another thread on down the list. _________________ Don't talk smack to me if you can't spell.

watchado, I like the way you did your intakes very nice work. I always try for more intake just in case there is a need for it. Better to have and not need than to need and not have. I will be watching for more updates. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Have not had much time to work on the smoker the last few days but did manage to get the tongue on this evening. Sure is nice to be able to move it around now!

Got the doors cut out and one hung. Went with the top of the door under the flange to help keep rain water out. Top flange runs entire length of the smoker and the hinges are welding to the flange. Both doors pulled pretty good when I made the final cuts, (initial cuts were made two days ago) so I don't think it had anything to do with heat just something that happens some time. I put them on the ground on a block of wood and wacked them around a bit with a 10lb sledge and damn if they don't fit!!! Here's the pics, hope you enjoy.
Still lots more welding to do, just wanted to make sure it all worked before I got carried away. _________________ Don't talk smack to me if you can't spell.

Okay here's what I got done today. Other door hung and straps tacked on. All of the pull out rack slides put in and two of the pull out racks made. Guess I didn't order enough angle iron!!! O well, I'm ready to go to the lake tomorrow anyway. It sure is hot here in Southwest Oklahoma. Here's the pics.

watchado, your cooker is coming along nicely. I like the way you mounted your doors, and the split you chose for size. Very nice work. I will be watching for more updates. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Got a little work done this evening. Finished the slide out racks, welded both ends in the firebox and built the firebox grate.

watchado, I am loving your build. You are putting out some very fine work. I love the split on your doors, and I am convinced that this is what I want on my next build. The option for whole pig room is nice. Keep up the fine work and I will be watching for more updates. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Always a compliment to see a nice clone being built. I remember when we hit the scene, our design was off the wall.
