I recently purchased an Ole Hickory CTO and have been playing around with it a bit. But somehow can't can't produce the same ribs like my offset smoker? Any help is appreciated from anyone experienced with this smoker.

I would suggest either lowering your temps, or shortening your cook time.
I went from a large offset to an oyler and realized much shorter cook times and a higher yield because no cooker cooks alike.
My first batch of ribs through my Oyler all got trashed because they were so over done that I could not use them, I'm betting you're seeing the same issue _________________ Just remember that the toes you may step on during your climb to the top will also be attached to the a$$es you'll be forced to kiss on your way back down! |
