necron 99 posted a cook earlier. In that he had some ABT's that were glazed with a good looking sauce (actually a sweet rib glaze). Taking his suggestions about using Cane sugar instead of Maple syrup and eliminating the 3/4 cup sugar, I made the glaze for some ABT's I had on the ECB. I've got a decent garden growing with 4 Jumbo Jalapeno plants, so I picked 15 and made some ABT's! Nothing special about the recipe - Japs, cream cheese, lil smokey, bacon wrap. I did put some of my 'Magic Dust' on them (Ground dehydrated jalapeno, garlic, and onion with brown sugar, salt, red and black pepper), though. Cooked for 3 hours @ 240ish and glazed the last 15 and 5 minute mark. Came out really good. Sweet, salty, and savory. An absolutely incredible taste! Only got one pic as the wife just got home with the camera -

They're all gone now!

Glad it worked for you Bugs! Wink Very Happy

Looks delicious!

I'm going to continue my quest for cane syrup next time we travel to Toledo or Columbus.

Best of luck finding the Cane sugar. Love this stuff! I have a really nice Cajun market a few miles from here that sells it. Thanks again for the inspiration - made my day!
