Hi all.. First off, I'm a proud father of a daughter that graduated this evening with a 3.79 GPA! Soon she will be off to college. Crying or Very sad We will miss her while she's away.

OK, back on task... I just can't get enough Tri Tip and I'm always looking for some different way to cook and serve up this excellent cut of meat... This is a very easy to make recipe with allot of flavor. The marinade is Low sodium soy, honey, sesame seed oil and pepper. I wanted the flavor to really penetrate the Tri Tip so I sliced it 1/2" - 3/4" thick across the grain and then used my Jaccard meat tenderizer on it. I love that tool! Then it was into the marinade overnight and most the day. Since I used reduced sodium soy it was not over salty at all. I fired up a pile of Weekend Warrior lump inside the Scottsdale and once I had hot coals I made short work of the cook. Just 2 to 2 1/2 minutes per side. The Tri Tip turned out amazing. Had leftovers sliced and piled on a Sammie for dinner. Yum!

Thanks for viewing! Very Happy
