Check out his fine smoker... built to last.

Very nice craftsmanship. |

Joelocalguy and his Cremator 2000 has made the list proving you don't have to spend a lot of money or even built your pit towable to produce great BBQ.... don`t believe me just look at the food it produces.
Wow.....looks good to me. |

Thanks Jeff - I sit there cooking with it and cannot believe it's done. This has been a many year long idea turned to project and the best resource has been here at the smoke ring. Your slide shows provided me the ideas I needed to see it through.
Thanks again

Your welcome Bob.. that was kinda the idea behind the slide shows.
Ya know that a lot of the pits in the slide shows were built by members that don`t know how to weld or fabricate but learned as they built there pits?
Also some really talented members too that could get work doing the same if they wanted but do what they do just for the fun of it.
Can you imagine what could happen if you got all these people together for a month and turned them loose in the fully stocked shop... iron, tools, welders, torches etc...
Would be a hellofa pit for sure. |

Thanks guys....
I must admit though i have not been collecting pics this summer or much at all lately. Been a busy summer trying to get my catering business off the ground. Between backyard cook-offs, summer parties, etc... even been busy at the day job for a change, i haven't had much time for fun stuff. (Wait a minute cooking BBQ is "fun stuff" )
But.....
If anyone wants a slide show built of your home made cooker e-mail me the "finished product" pictures and i`ll get it posted. |
