I am finishing my reverse flow smoker this weekend, I was wondering what is a safe way to finish my grates and prevent constant burning, is it safe to powder coat or coat in some way to help with cleaning and appearance?

thanks!

have trim on doors left, red silicone seal, cover on stacks for heat control, and then blast / prime / paint and burn.....

then ready to do it again...

SigSauerNY, when you season the cooker season the grates nothing else is needed. I use Pam spray on my cookers to season them. Every time she is cleaned I lightly spray the grates again.
I hope this helps. Very Happy
