Made a sausage Discada for lunch with some friends.
I parboiled some Mild Italian sausage in some broth, beer, onions and some spices; I usually use Brats for this, but wanted some thing different. Chopped peppers, onions, blanched some red potatoes, diced some jalapenos (green and red), and shredded some cabbage.

Browned the sausage first

Added the bell peppers

Added the diced jalapenos

And then the cabbage and stir fried them

Then the onions
Free Image Hosting
Added the potatoes and simmered with the disc covered in a mixture of some of the sausage broth, beer, Worcestershire sauce, dash of cider vinegar, garlic and some spices

Added the buns around the edge of the disc and covered to steam them

And lunch was served Very Happy
