Bacon Throwdown Tie Breaker

The tie breaker will be a mini-throwdown with with a short time line of 24 hours for cooking and voting. The subject is whatever the two tied contestants are cooking for lunch today. The meals must be turned in by 2 pm PDT. Either contestant can bow out and forfeit the Bacon Throwdown Championship to the other at anytime, with a penalty of being labled as a QUITER in the Bacon Throwdown Tie Breaker thread / poll.

Well Ken, you've given both a succession speech AND quit, but the throwdown god's are on your side nonetheless....Even so, my Momma didnt raise no quitter!
I figure I better get my entry in early so that quitter hippie has a chance! Better get at it Bro.
Not a strip of bacon left in the house, so I had to settle for a brunch platter of what was in the fridge:

Grilled N.Y. Strip Steak with a beef/red eye gravy
Scrambled eggs with Cheddar cheese sauce
A tossed iceberg salad with smoked Bologna and Gouda cheese
Pretzel rolls
a slab of Bologna in the shape of 'Merica
1/2 of a large sweet potato
Cannoli cake drizzled with extra melted chocolate

HEY - quit lookin at my wifes a$$!!

You will notice this post has everything a REAL throwdown
pic is supposed to include:
a beautiful woman
Alcohol, even though its not beer....
A pig, 3 if you count the spoon and shirt
Several guns, extra mag's
Extra food for throwing so I dont have to waste steak and eggs...i.e.egg, carrot and celery
fat bald bearded guy wearing pig shirt shovin food in face aka game face

My son say's - Vote for me, or the pig gets it!

I even threw some food at my dog who quickly realized he CANNOT lick his forehead!

since it was JUST what we happened to be cooking for lunch today......
put this little dittie together ~~~~>

The Players ~~~>

(except for the flowers....)

These are hickory smoked personal turkey meatloafs.....

On @ 300.....

Less than an hour, capped with Herdez sauce ( none of that silly ketchup.....

No Bacon, but I did wear my pig underwear...

Game Face.....

Plated....

I did don my 'Cheese Head' in honor of my competitor from Wisconsin......

Recipes:

Turkey Meatloaf:

2-1/2 # ground turkey
1# mild Italian ground sausage
3/4 ( more or less, your choice) small dice onion
3/4 c shreadded carrot
8 oz. mushroom, chopped
8 oz. shreadded cheddar
2 eggs
1/2 c breadcrumbs
1/3 c milk
2 PKG. McCormack's or similar meatloaf spice mix

Mix, loaf up into 6 small size loafs....
Smoke slightly higher heat 325 ~ 350 approx. 45min. ~ 1 hr. Int165, roughly......

Tomatoes: Just Tomatoes....

Tater: Just Tater, put whatever you want on it, except peanut butter....

Asparagus:

Peel butt ends, then pan simmerin water,lemon pepper,olive oil, a few onion rings & for a special extra....

the wife added a Tblspn. of Basil Sweet Jelly....
