Well some of you remember when Jeepdad cam out to go fishing with me. Well at the time I didnt have a boat.
We have some world class salmon/ steelhead fishing in Washington state.
So I got back from 45 days in Japan and had a little extra cash in my pocket so I went and bought me a new Lavro river Dory. Here she is.

I wondered what happened to you. Good to see your still kicking. Nice drift boat. It will make hunting for the one or two fish you see a day much more comfortable.

Do you launch from Big Eddy?

If you do, when you go through the first hard right turn there is a deep channel in the middle of the stream, work that channel from the inside of the turn. I pulled a lot of steel out of that channel. Be carefull not to get your oar stuck in the rocks that stick out of the water just below the slick coming out of that turn.

If you get one with to many feathers just shave it off, dry the area, and hit it with a black sharpie.

Thanks all,
Jarhead I think the prop might have issues. Shocked

GF. We will start fishing for them in march, the big king salmon and then all the way through up till around thanksgiving. Just depends on the river we choose to fish.

Thanks Robert, I am trying to get the boat in the water, but they never leave me alone long enough.

Hey Jeepdad, its the same size as the one we took down the river the last time you came out. This next trip we will run more plugs and bonk them babies in the head.

Thats a big Roger that C.B..
It need some horsepower and Dan shouldnt have a problem coming up with some.

Maniac, Yes sir she is a white water dory designed for running rough water

Thanks Toga Yep it makes for a nice day on the river heaters in the front and for the oarsman, cooler full of beverages and of course my little weber for cooking up lunch.

Thanks SoEzzy, and sorry boss its been a while.. Shocked

Hell Fire grill Yes Sir that is where I put in. I know the spot your talking about just around the corner after you go under the train bridge. I just live a few minutes from the big eddy. Next time you get out my way give me a little notice and we will float.
