Jonnyrod, Your cooker came out fantastic.
It doesn't look like you "slapped"it together. A very interesting door system you got there.
Besides the cooker looking cool, the food looks darn good. |

Thanks GF, the food looked good unfortunately the judges didn't think it was all that great lol.
K.A.M. As always I appreciate it
Cat797 those stainless stacks were a real pain but they did turn out cool. The lights were a hit, we pulled a section of fence down so folks could take pictures lol
Pappy, I put the bars on there in case of power failure. The also have flamed grips with Maltese crosses on the ends _________________ http://www.thesmokering.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42423

Jonnyrod, as is always on your builds, mighty fine work and way cool! You have risen the term " Slapped together" to a whole nother level. I will go the formal route and ask your permission to borrow the door opener mecho scheme for my 30" .375" wall build. Barring permission, I'm pretty much going to swipe it anyway tho. I was really not wanting to mess with or clutter my door with a counterbalance, that is totally trick! _________________ Backyarder

Maniac, thank you very much
TrailerBuilder, all I need now are some 20s
Curtzo, thanks man. The stacks were fun to make.
Wreckless, check the 3000 lb winch from Harbor Frieght. It comes with a remote handlebar mounted switch. That unit is power in and out and has an automatic brake. The reviews were excellent for it and I ran it through a whole cook off as well as everybody playing with it for over a week without having to recharge the battery. _________________ http://www.thesmokering.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42423
