Covington (VA) Cork and Pork Festival

Announcing the Second Annual Covington Cork and Pork Festival (Version 1.5!!!). On June 28-29, 2013, Olde Town Covington, will be hosting a KCBS sanctioned barbeque competition. Last year's festival proved to be a success despite the derecho which came through on Friday evening and pretty much destroyed the festival. Not to be discouraged with the weather, we promise a bigger and better festival for our competition teams. Free ice, free electric (20 amp), free water, and a People's Choice Competition limited to the first 15 teams and will offer additional prize money. Meat and health permit will be provided to the teams. The festival will offer attendees wine tastings, vendors, food, music, entertainment, kids activities, and much more.
