Saturday we did a practice cook for a comp that will be next
weekend. This will be the first time for Mark and I haven’t
been in a comp for 5 years.
We need input on are turn in boxes. On the brisket box I did not
wipe the sides off before we took the picture.
We did brisket /chicken /ribs and pork, we ran out of parsley for the
pork.

Thank you,
Stilwell Chuck

Chuck you have some great looking boxes.
However:
Chicken - 8 - Not uniform in size, front row is larger than back row. Great job on the trim. The two on the left look a bit burnt in spots. Sauce on the parsley?
Ribs - 8 maybe 9 in person - Had a hard time telling if 1 and 2 were separated. A bit too much sauce for my taste. Nice pull-back.
Brisket - 9 - Jumps out and says "Eat Me". Nice even color and I would hit those ends 1st.

Chuck, I forgot to put this in my post. Another great place to get feedback on your boxes is BBQ Critic
You will be critiqued by every judge imaginable, covering all authorities.
Take a look and you will see past boxes and how they scored and why.
