The wife's returned from Italy....
After a lot of airplane problems & 2-1/2 day delayed return....

She wants American food....

Here's a whole dinner on an 18-1/2" Weber ~~~>

Big potatoes down in the bottom / corn on top....

Wicked Good lump, running pretty hot...

Then marinated squash...

Then a rotation of ribeyes (kinda thin, but that worked out well for this gig..)

Keeping things warm while aspergoose is finishing....

Pull Grate...

Pull Taters...

Done ~~>

Plated ~~>

A few minutes later ~~>

She had fun in Italy, ate a lot, walked it all off & said the fruit & vegetables werre hideous.....
Attacked the potato before I could even get it in the house....

Small cooking area, but can accomplish a lot with time & placement.... Very Happy

Glad she's home safe. I bet it was a great trip. I'd love to go to Italy some day.

Food looks good too. Always love a good steak.

Thanks Troy & Manana !!

She did have fun & was amazed by the history, but said a lot of places were unkempt & THERE'S NO ICE for sale hardly anywhere !!

She asked for iced tea when she first got there & they just shook their heads like she was crazy ????

Thanks, Chelps...
She was "INCENSED" ( read: P.O.'D ) about no iced tea....
Her uncle came to town today & we went out to eat...
He likes the Italian place just down the street, but they do have really good iced tea !!

1Buckie

Nice looking feast there , we are just getting zuch's out of our garden , I think they are heading for the Weber , thanks for the inspiration , I get most of my ideas from reading what all you pro's are doing...

the way you did your potato's reminded me of how we did in down in Barbados long ago (1983-84). The only difference is we didn't use any foil as it was tough to get your hands on without a bunch of $$$..

Thanks, Dan !!

Those were yellow crooknecks from my neighbor, but zukes are as good or better...
Zesty Italian dressing is a good marinade....Those were olive
oil with that flavored vinegar from the rib glaze & some spices....
Favorite lately is jalepeno ranch dressing.....REALLY messy, but dang it's good.........

Thing I forgot to do on the taters is stab 'em w/ a fork all around before wrapping, cook about 25% faster like that....
Kinda decided @ the last second to do everything on one cooker...
oil if you like soft skin, just water wash if you want crispy...
Haven't done those like that in 3-4 years, almost forgot how ~~> Embarassed
