Hello, All. We are getting pretty close to doing the deal. In an attempt to stretch my opening budget, we are planning on doing much of the dining room work ourselves. I was hoping you guys would share some pics of any self built tables, booths, shelving, counters, beverage stations, etc. I have been scouring google images for some inspiration but have yet to find any. Thanks!! |

I built a Picnic Table and Benches off of Yella Wood project plans.
It was an easy build and looked great. Sorry no pics and ex kept it.
Here's the LINK
There are several more on their website.
If that don't work, you may have to start here.LINK _________________ Gunny 3073/4044/8411

Well, my coolest item is our service counter. I took a 1932 Westinghouse Coca-Cola vending machine, and topped with with a nice green laminated counter-top piece that a friend was tossing after his kitchen remodel. It has the original bottle opener on the front, and original paint that is well worn and has a unique patina happening. Please we have multiple coke bottle vending machines for decor, etc etc _________________ Just remember that the toes you may step on during your climb to the top will also be attached to the a$$es you'll be forced to kiss on your way back down! |

Going against my personal photo ban on this forum (due to the dumb sizing restrictions) I went ahead and shrunk a photo so I could post it. I hope it's small enough.
I built this camper in 2006, took me 18months because I'd work on it for a month, get sick of it, take a break for a couple of months, then restart. It's basically a rolling bed with a galley under the rear hatch. Runs both on AC and DC, has microwave and air conditioning. We've traveled to 22 states and both coasts. Still have to hit the small states in the NE, as we've never taken it North of NC.

Rock, that is one sharp looking rig.
I'm thinking of the things that I could have done with/in that back in my younger years. _________________ Gunny 3073/4044/8411

I am a auction junkie. I furnished my place with 90 seats, booths, tables and chairs for 500.00 All in like new condition. There are enough folks who spend beyond their means and have to walk away, leaving a trail of value for the frugal. Timing is often the key. I am always collecting for the next step, but I have all the toys. We did our build out on 40K. I have spent that much since, but paid cash and am debt free. _________________ The lessons are in the customer's criticism. They aren't always right. The rewards are their satisfaction. |
