Who's using square up?

I know there have been a couple of posts about square card processing. I was hoping to get some feedback on what type of equipment people are using...ie what generation ipads or which android device. I want the ability to print hard receipts which I think limits me to an ipad, right? What printers are working well for people? Thanks for the knowledge!

I am using a Gen2 iPad, and an iPhone 3Gs, but you can also use the newest generation iPod touch. You need internet connectivity for it to work, I use WiFi at my place, and if it is for a catered event, we run the card before delivery. If you get a 3G iPad with a data plan, it will work anywhere.

The cool part, if your customer has used square, and had a receipt sent digitally, they do not need to enter their email or phone number each time, Square stores it, and it shows up with mostly asterisks in your app. Way cool.
