I had an open date, so I agreed to set up at an estate auction 30 miles from the house. Was assuming I'd make a couple hundred bucks at best....Smoked some burgers, brats and reheated 3 butts and a pan of pulled Brisket that didnt sell [ sales have been slow in this heat]- grossed $995.00!!! Just goes to show ya, ya just never know!!! Set up a few good leads too!!!
Water sales were thru the roof as it was about 90° w/ high humidity - but at $0.88 each profit [ minus ice costs] I aint complaining there!!!
I REALLY thought it would be more of a bust.....Grateful it wasnt!
