I was planning on doing a couple 5 pound batches on Saturday. After seeing Griffin's Hot Italian, I decided to do that & some Italian herb and cheese.
I had bought some pork butts a few weeks ago & ground them up & weighed them out into 5 pound bags for the freezer.
One of the bags was a little short, so I mixed in some ground beef to make weight.
Also I mixed in some chopped sun dried tomatoes from a jar to both batches.
You can really see the differance in the two recipes here. I threw a little extra of the herb & cheese in with the hot.
Threw some onto the grill with Italian soaked chicken.
A platter full of happiness!
It came out with great flavor! Next time I will kick up the heat!
