In a blatant rip-off of a cook zski posted, I decided to try making egg rolls.
I started with the following:
1 lb. ground pork
green onion
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. ground ginger
soy sauce
sesame oil
I browned up the meat mixture and mixed it with a bag of coleslaw mix,( shredded cabbage and carrots ).
After mixing well I rolled them up.

Into the disco.

After a few batches, here they are.

Overall, not bad.I guess you gotta try new things now and then.

Thanks for looking.

I tried to add a link to zski's cook but somehow it isn't working. Embarassed

TrailerBuilder, thank you, wasn't bad for a first try. Smile
I did learn, not to make so many at one time. Even after feeding myself and the nieghbors I still had some left. Shocked
They sucked after hitting the refridgerator. Sad
A lesson learned. Embarassed

GF, I can't believe I am just now seeing this post. I don't come to this section too often. Anyways, those eggrolls look delicious.

I am with you on the part about making too many. I actually just ate the last couple for lunch the other day. They just don't reheat very well. Someone on my thread suggested rolling then freezing them and cook as needed. I may try that next time. Again, nice job.

I saw the suggestion on your thread about freezing them, I will try it next time also.
Sorry I couldn't get the link to yours added, operator error no doubt. Embarassed
