I have alum walls in mine, but if I was building it,i would have FRP.
I like tile on the floor and the HD likes light colored.diamond plate is hard on the back and legs after a long day.
So what are you doing?I didn't follow the change. _________________ Good BBQ is all smoke and beers!

Up here in the GWN most HD's want a seemless type floor. That includes a 4" cove up the walls. Tiles are not allowed. May be different in your area. _________________ 18.5" WSM & 22.5" WSM

I am taking the back half of my rig , taking a 500 offset off and making a room that is 102" x 80" . For cold food storage , thinking sandwich prep table and 3 bin sink griddle and fryer
basically hd tells me that I need a closed in area for 3 bin sink as well as a serving window. I have never had An enclosed vending area before prior I used temp food service permit and used the rig I have now but I am limited to the permits 12 per year , which is not gonna work this year,
good point on the diamond plate, the hd should allow vinyl commercial tiles they are in kitchens I'll check _________________ Kar na vor ride 87 sq feet cooking

I realize rules vary from state to state and this may be meaningless for you.
The HD here in Iowa only says all surfaces must be smooth and washable.
My walls were done at the manufacturer and I used vinyl floor tile squares that I stuck down with adhesive. I had to re-stick a couple, but the tiles I used from Menards satisfied the HD and are holding up well.
I also made all my cabinets out of wood and the inspector was ok with them simply being painted.
Good luck with your project. _________________ Tender - Juicy - Smoky - Goodness

Same here in Nebraska. Washable walls, sweep & mop floor.
I went with FRP walls & will probably coat the floor with an industreal coating of some sort. |
