Sounds nuts, but thats what I wanted for dinner, on the disco. Shocked
Boiled some water and threw 1lb. of linguine in the disc.

I added 1lb. of gulf shrimp and some seasoning.

I put the linguine back in to absorb all the liquid, after the shrimp cooked.

All done.

I gotta say, although I may have lost my mind, I can't find anything that can't be cooked on the disco. Cool
Thanks for looking.

Nothing crazy about that GF, that may even be the prefered method now that you thought it up. Looks very tasty. Very Happy Try some of Big Rons crawfish /shrimp boil on the next batch. Cajun and Italian should get along well.

Wreckless, Good idea with the Big Rons. Very Happy
Sometimes I don't know what goes on in my head, seemed like a good idea. At least for once my "good idea" didn't land me in a whole lotta trouble. Embarassed

yall try this....
shrimp fettuccini alfredo....
heat some good olive oil...
add some chopped garlic, chopped fresh basil and seasoned shrimp( I like Old Bay) quickly cook shrimp and garlic a few min.
remove shrimp and all the garlic(dont want it to burn)
set aside.
de glaze pan/oil w/ white wine, reduce and add heavy cream... over LOW heat SLOWLY add shredded parmesaen cheese till nice and thick... go slow and stir alot, or the cheese will clot.
add shrimp back to sauce.
pour shrimp/sauce over cooked fettuccini and sprinkle w/ fresh chopped parsley

TrailerBuilder, Thanks. Very Happy
I'm convinced now, if you can cook it on the white box in the kitchen, you can cook it on the disco. Very Happy
I'm enmbarased to admit I have not tried Big Rons stuff yet. Embarassed
