Hi All,

We have a contract we currerntly use for catering in MS word. It is about 4 pages, and has all of the details we need. I am looking for an easier way to do our contracts.

When we start a new contract, we take a template, and input all of the client data, event location, date, menu, how many people, costs, etc. Some of the data is in the contract 3-4 times (same data)

I am looking for recommendations on an easier way to do this. I can either use a different contract, or I would like to find a way that I can input the customer data into one area, and then have that automatically populate my contract.

I tries using MS word and a Mail Merge, but that did not work the best.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Pete

Hey Pete, why not search and replace?
!Client
!Location
!Date
!Menu
#PPL
etc.
Put those in your template. Search for !Client & replace with John Doe.
etc
Easier than writing a program for it.
