Well, I've just about got all my ducks in a row for starting this business. I'm determined to make this work. It's kind of scary, but exciting at the same time.
Anyway, I'm going to send out some flyers to some local businesses in my area. For those of you that have done this, what are you putting on the flyers? Obviously food items, but what does the layout look like? Are you listing prices or just what you offer? Any info would be much appreciated! _________________ Blake Griffith

Congrats on your new endeavor!
Most of us that send out "flyers" use a basic introduction to our services, along with a link to a website.
Having something nice (a brochure or business card) to hand out at events (be it catered or vending) is a must have. _________________ BBQMAN

Do you have a website ready yet? If not, I would suggest you get one as soon as ssible even if it is something simple.

Thanks for the tips! I do have a domain name saved, but not an actual website up and running. _________________ Blake Griffith

At least you have the first step done. I would agree, having a website can be a big help. That way if you are extremely busy and don't have time to chat with potential customers at events, you can direct them to the site AND your site is listed on the business cards so people don't forget. You can check out our site for reference if you'd like. click the www button below. _________________ BBrown

Just an FYI - Not sure who your webhost is, but my work filter has blocked your site with the reason being: spam-urls.
To OP - Best of luck! _________________ Got myself a Charbroil Double Chef Smoker for about a year now.
