I've been curious about making desserts ever since I got my Egg, but we don't eat a lot of sweets at my house. Saturday, I wanted to see if I could do cookies on the Egg and if I would like them or if the smoke would put me off. This was an experiment for me so I didn't want to waste my time making cookie dough if I wasn't going to like the results. So I grabbed some pre-made cookies at the store Saturday, the kind where you break off as many squares as you want to eat and threw them on the Egg after lunch.

After about 12 minutes, they were done

Turned out pretty good. Definitely need to try to make some home-made ones soon. Check out more pics and details here:

The cookies look great. I've cooked chocolate chip cookies in my Stump clone smoker. I used apple wood for the smoke along with lump charcoal for the heat. The apple wood is a sweet smoke flavor and it tasted great with the cookies. _________________ Steve
