Very nice looking ribs, and beans too. Quick question for you. I made some of your glaze back in October and has been in the refrigerator since. Is it still good? I was wanting to use it on some ribs this weekend. Thanks.

After 3 months I would give it a toss if it was me.

What store did you get the Bush beans at?
I would like to give them a try.
I have always been partial to the "Deep-Browned" beans (formerly on the Libby's brand).
Heinz took them over some time in the '90s,
and they still use the Libby's recipe.
The actual Heinz beans are not good at all, IMO. Confused

Thanks guys. It was a good day and I remembered how to use my WSM. The ribs were real good but I could barely eat half a rack with each meal. Had a shot of Jack and few beers so it turned out well. It would have been nice to have a good cigar.

To be honest, I can buy a can of beans cheaper and more consistant than I can make from scratch. I like the bush beans cause they have a wee chunk of bacon rather than the usual chunk of pork fat that Canadian beans have..

I got the beans at Zehr's in Orillia I think it was.

Tony my friend.. With workin 6 days a week since I started at the deli and since things have slowed down in the off season I get a extra day off.. I now can cook some BBQ at home and take a few pictures. As the good son, I have spent my day off visiting my dear old Ma. Wink

Thanks for lookin.

The wife though (as well as me too) that the reheat rack of ribs was better than fresh off the smoker. Could be that I should have treated them more like St Louis or spares.. I have not smoked many racks of spares that were cut so thick over the bone with meat.

Anyways, that was a real nice treat for me and the missus.. And the dang dog too.. One night he ended up with almost 4 ribs worth of trick treats. Wink
