Smoked my first butt today. Initially had a hard time getting my smoker above 210. Opened up the exhaust damper all the way and she got right to 250 after some minor intake adjustments. I used a recipe out of smoking with Myron mixon for pulled pork. I used his hog injection recipe and his basic BBQ rub recipe. Turned out great! My first time using lump coal. I used cowboy lump but will definitely find something else for my next cook based on feedback in my other post. Enough babble, here are some pics! Thanks again for everyone's help. Looks great man! Try it with some dijon mustard too, I about made myself sick eating a bunch this morning w/ the mustard (and I'm usually not big on mustard) Congrats again!
