Ceedubya wanted to see how I put a Guru on the Magnum, so here goes...

I hammered out a little AAA cup of aluminum to fit where the round Weber vent went. There's a 9/32" hole in the center, and three slots around the hole to let the air in.
A 1-1/4" copper pipe ell gets a little brass boss soldered on, then drilled through 9/32". One end of the ell is cut down for clearance.
It's held together with a 1/4" stainless bolt through the whole works and a nut on the outside.
The stainless sleeve is the Guru adapter. It just fits into the ell, and the Guru fan plugs into that.

Here's the assembly. I've got the "economy" version of the Guru, the Pit Runner, plugged in. It just fits under the Kettle bowl. This is a 4 cfm fan, which is plenty. I also have the regular Guru and an 8 cfm fan, but I have to choke it down to 1/4 open to work. The regular Guru works better for me than the Pit Runner, but it costs more.
Don't forget to order the 6 ft. probe wire with either.
(Man, I need to do some cleaning!)

If I was to put this on a One-Touch, I'd have to block off two of the three air slots. I think I'd get the original ash pan that came with the Kettle, cut off the rim, make a hexagonal hole in the middle, and put it in place of the three blades. Weber sells parts, so you can replace the rusted up hub with a new one. Then, I'd make a hole in the ash pan oh, about 3/4" long and as wide as the slot.
The Guru adapter comes with a little ash deflector that screws onto the sleeve adapter. I'd replace the original screw with one about 3" long. The copper ell would be the same, except the 9/32" hole would be a lot smaller.
Make a sandwich, starting from the inside of the Kettle: Ash deflector, aluminum ash pan, kettle body, copper ell, nut.
You don't need to worry about sealing between the ash pan and the kettle body - barbegoo will fill it up pretty quick.
-Disclaimer- the preceeding is pure conjecture, I haven't actually done it.
