Fired up the UDS. Got it sitting at 250*. I put a bag of Great Northern beans in the Dutch Oven along with a chopped up med onion, 1 tbl spn of garlic powder, 1 T spn of cayenne pepper, diced 1/2 of a grn bell pepper, blk pepper to taste, and add water to 2 1/2" to 3" above the beans and seasonings. Put the lid on the DO and then the DO on the UDS.

Used my favorite rub on 5 good sized CSPR`s with the fat trimmed off. Then placed the CSPR`s around the DO about 3" away from it.

1 1/2 hour later put the CSPR`s into the DO and let goodness happen. Stirred the beans and the CSPR`s fell apart.

The rub from the CSPR went over the top. YUMMY!!!

A pan of jalepeno cornbread and a nice salad to top it off.

Very fine eating for a little work. It was so good.
