After a hectic vending season, I did the unthinkable. I left my thermapen in my jeans pocket for a trip through the washing machine. Don't even try the jar of rice trick, it doesn't work. Called the folks @ Thermoworks, and they told me to send it to them. They fixed it and shipped it back out the same day they recieved it, and for a very reasonable price I might add. It sure is nice to deal with people that sell such a great product (wouldn't cook without it), and have great customer service too! That's pretty rare these days, and when I run across it, I sure want to give them a shout out.

Definitely a great company and product. My last (and first) event the HD inspector came up. Seen my thermo pen and said "glad to see you care enough about your temps to spend the extra money on the best". He then pulled his out (not as good as mine since I have the red one Laughing ) and checked my temps.

There is nothing better than great customer service to get a loyal following.
I've never had to use TW, but thanks for the information. BTW, Orange is the fastest. Laughing
That's why I like Weber and Cook Shack.
I had to use Weber for a replacement thermometer on my WSM 22. No problems.
I've never had to use CS for warranty. But they have done a great job in answering my questions.
Thanks CS, TW and Weber. You know how to keep customers.
Made overseas? Forget it!!! Blackstone flat top griddle with 2 broken knobs on arrival over 1 year ago. Called and requested 2 plastic knobs, 4 times now. Evil or Very Mad
And I still ain't got 'em. Evil or Very Mad
Buy "MADE IN THE USA" and you have a better chance of getting things taken care of when/if they go wrong.

I'm always happy to support our British brothers and sisters as well.Wink

The Coolskin gloves made in the EU (and supplied by a British company) are just the best (even considering the exchange rate).

My Ferrari red pen is also (naturally) awesome!

Thank you Great Britain! Cool

I've had stellar service from Ole Hickory's technical department, without the trauma of pellet induced anxiety (Sorry John, but I couldn't resist). Razz

I've had mine for over 2 years now, I doubt I'll ever buy a different one.

Chris, mine is packed up, getting ready for a road trip to CA., so I don't have access to the "Made in" info. I just know I bought it in the US from a company with a great reputation.
Mike, I'm gonna send you a box of termites for your wood pile. Merry Christmas. Shocked Laughing
