Well, my pizza day didn't go as planned. This was a first for me, so be gentle. Wink

I bought all of the fixin's, the cheapest that I could find. That was a just in case it didn't work and became dog food.

Pillsbury Pizza Dough, Best Choice Pizza Sauce with Mushrooms, Pizza Blend Cheese and some sliced Pepperoni. Not bad for $6.

It all started when I left the store.
About half way home I heard a loud pop from the back seat. 20 minutes later, when I made it home, I found out that the pizza dough had exploded all over the inside of the bag. I guess it got too hot. Shocked

Plan B - Sit down, drink a beer and regroup. Ahh-Ha, flour tortillas would make a good crust. So the story continues with pics.

I fired up the Little Weber, put 3 beer cans on the grill to elevate the pizza above the coals and get it into a hotter zone.

Sprayed both sides of the tortilla with butter PAM and tossed it on the pizza pan. Flipped at about 3 minutes and put on the sauce, cheese and pepperoni.
Put the lid back on.
Cooked til the cheese was melted.

Are ya hungry yet? Turned out pretty good. Next time I will make it a combination, with all the good stuff.
Thanks for lookin'

Thanks rbalfour. Give it a try, you will like it. Add what you want on top. I think I'm gonna try BBQ sauce and pulled pork today along with a supreme. I'll have the time to make my own crust, so I don't have to rely on getting it home safely. Laughing

Thanks GF, plan C was a pulled pork burrito. Wink

mattp, thanks for the ideas.
Ken, just glad it stayed contained in the bag. I tried to remove it and roll it out. That was a joke. Laughing

does the paint on the beer cans add to the flavor profile??? Confused Very Happy
I had a similar day - only it was a gallon of BBQ sauce in the back of my truck!!! I remember hearing someone beep at one point on the freeway - I wonder how much ended up on windshields..... Shocked Only took half an hour to clean up all the stock I had just picked up
Evil or Very Mad
Great lookin quick , simple za!! I have done it with a disposable pie pan upside down - a bit more stable than beer cans!

Thanks Mr Tony. I don't think it added to the za, but it sure was tasty emptying them. Very Happy

I bet you made some people real happy with BBQ sauce all over their vehicles. Shocked Laughing

Next time, I'm gonna stand the cans upright and use the little WSM lid on it. There wasn't enough clearance with the grill top, to do that.
