Looking good Tony! Cool

I would respectfully suggest extending some kind of awning extension off the back to protect your warming/fire box from rain/snow.

You MIGHT thank me later! Wink Razz

That may happen Mike!! I added a automotive "cherry bomb" muffler to the generator.....quiets the "pop" right out of that briggs, thing is - the engine and generator themselves are loud too!! Evil or Very Mad but it DOES make a difference!! It slides on using flex pipe - will get pics one of these days.....

Wired the building at my main vending site yesterday. Added a 220 volt, dual 40 amp breaker to a twist lock plug on the outside with lockable shut-off - Then made an extension cord out of 8 / 4 long enough to get to unit. The size material was stuff the owner of the building had laying around!! It was an old hardware store / gas station when this guy bought it and converted it to a mini-mart - I just had to dig through the piles to find the stuff that would work. No more generator rumble, at this spot at least!
I had also made an adapter so I can plug into a standard house circuit when I dont need the warmers etc - it will fire up all the lights, flood lights too - water heater and pump, and will even run the fan on the a/c unit - if I turn off the water heater, it will run the a/c too!!
Still gotta find a big, quiet honda[?] generator - but for now I am up and running!

Being in the trades yourself you surely know how lucky you are! Cool

That stuff is freaking EXPENSIVE these days. Shocked

Funny that- I knew you just might come to that conclusion on your own eventually! Wink Mr. Green

But what would I know!Razz

I've lost a substantial amount of hearing and all that racket drives me nuts! Mad

Admittedly it's a short trip! Very Happy

Yessir!! Upon eyeing the spool of 8/4 exterior cased- it was like hitting the lottery!! I thought I saw it at well over $2.00 / foot at the big box store!! [ used about 80" total ] It was worth the time to dig and find a set of heavy duty exterior ends too - they go for $35 pc!!
Gonna protect these cords with my life!! Laughing

I'd love to get a spool of 8/4!but you need a forklift to move it!but I'd work around that.

I have only had 1 real issue with this unit - the grey water tank installed was smaller than it was supposed to be - after a few phone calls - Cody at SLE has taken care of the situation!! A local RV center is going to do the fix, and SLE gave them their credit card to pay for it!! No doubt, a stand up company!! Thanks again Cody - hope you see this post!!

Tank issue was resolved back in January - didnt cost me anything except time and gas - I guess I can live with that!I could now fill my fresh water tank twice and hold it all!!
Just today I got my SS grill cut down to fit better and installed - JUST enough room for door to fully open, the padlock hasp hits the handle on the grill - it couldnt have been planned better - this happened on its own! Cool No dented up door!!

Those are slots for custom made SS pans to keep warm on this end of the grill - covers are inside grill for driving.
First grilling gig this weekend...I did it with plenty of time to spare Embarassed
