I mentioned a while back that the food truck craze has hit Orlando. A blogger and entrepreneur organized some of the better "food trucks" in the area to come together 2-3 Sundays per month in rotating mainstream locations like a mall parking lot, a large community's down town area, etc.
For his trouble and out of pocket expenses, he charges food trucks $75 to participate. Events are usually Sunday evenings from 6pm - 10pm and there are a maximum of 16 trucks. Typically 10 or so are food and 6 are desserts.
Thus far I have particpated in 3 of the 8 or so this summer and only 1 was a dog. All the rest have been well attended. For these kind of events, I usually define worthwhile as total sales = to at least 10x vendor fee; good = 20x vendor fee.
Here's a write-up

I operated as a two person team and we were slammed from 6pm - 9pm and sold out of sides.

Thanks again for the share, and thank you for the update on how that is going.
From the sounds of it very well!
Could you please put me in contact with the organizer- I'd like to do something similar here and need some guidance? _________________ BBQMAN
