| Can anyone tell me a good source for citrus wood (orange) in the Tampa Bay area. When I was a kid there were orange groves all over the place, but they're mostly gone to development. I live in Pinellas county (no groves here), but I'm willing to drive a ways for some decent citrus wood. |

| Hop on sr17 to the Arcadia area, or 27 to Lake Placid/Sebring. This is a good time to check the groves because they just finished trimming in the last couple months... |

No need to travel very far, lots of folks still have the trees in their own backyard (I'm one of them).
You have a few options locally:
Make friends with a tree trimmer.
Go to any of the free brush sites (we have them in St.Petersburg, not sure about up your way) and just take what you want.
That option comes with a caveat- make dang sure you are picking up citrus wood and not some other variety (like oleander) that is extremely poisoness.
Not sure how much you are looking for, but you can always contact me and I'll see what I can round up for you. _________________ BBQMAN
