| I've been out of touch with my cooking for a few months while I worked another job. I looked at the local paper and saw that where there was one and maybe two food vendors at the small market now there are six! I worked this market a few times, Earth Day etc and found it marginal with two cookers.... good luck folks! Are you guys seeing lots more vendors? |

Welcome back Mike!
I only vend my fresh market Oct-May.
We have about 2 dozen food vendors.
On slow days it kinda blows- too much food, too few customers.
On beautiful chamber of commerce Saturdays it rocks.
Not much in-between. _________________ BBQMAN

yep, I think between the economy and the current trendiness of mobile food vendors there's a lot more everywhere now.
where I used to live (san fran) there's a fancy hot dog/ice cream/sushi/bbq bus on every block nowadays
where I live now (very small town in rural western mass) theres a bunch. since we've opened -- just 2 months -- theres 3 new hot dog carts, another bbq guy, and two places doing weekly pig roasts all within about 15 miles. and these towns are SMALL too, like 2000 people or less. |
