I have been vending chicken breast sandwiches for a few seasons, and was looking at them and thinking those look sooo plain. So I was wondering what does your chick sandwich look like, what do you put on it?I put just a breast on a bun and let the customer add the sauce.boring looking.do you chop the meat?Hoping for pictures. _________________ Good BBQ is all smoke and beers!

Hello there DWD.
Yep, that sounds Plain Jane.
I use a 5 oz breast portion wrapped with 1/2 slice of bacon on a 4" Sara Lee Bun. I put lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo on it.
Everybody loves them. _________________ Gunny 3073/4044/8411

I've had some of the same issues.
Unlike Gunny, most of our customers purchase them because they don't have pork on them!
I've had a few even ask for no seasoning either (talk about Plain Jane).
We are considering going to pulled chicken which is also a good way to get more mileage out of left over chicken. _________________ BBQMAN

we grill up a bunch of dry-rubbed breasts, then chop em up small and mix with our sweet sauce, keep it in a foil pan in the smoker, then serve 4-5oz over a plain burger bun. $6 comes with one side.
I prefer the PP but some of our customers really love the chicken |
