We vended a month ago at a Rat Rod rally and car show, poured all day but we still made enough to pay for the spot and food, then about 2 weeks ago getting ready to do a four day festival and the father in law passed away so with the visitation and funeral we only vended 2 days (this is where we started last year, our first time vending ever) still made very good money, they had record attendance this year, I think it is the 43rd year of the festival.
Then we vended yesterday at a craft fair in our town from 9 till 2, nobody bought anything until 9:55, thought maybe we over did it on food, then we got hit big, we sold a little over $800.00 worth of food in 4 hours, one woman heard we were there again this year and came and bought 3 and a half racks of ribs to go for there Anniversary dinner, they were going to go out for lobster until they heard we were vending our ribs, her husband came last year at the end of the craft fair and bought the last three racks we had left.
Sorry for so long winded but finally an event goes the right way this summer.
Now, trying to decided how much to smoke for the World Of Outlaws in two weeks _________________ Kurt

Congrats Kurt, and sorry to hear of the FIL.
It certainly doesn't always go this way, see Jeff's experience this weekend! _________________ BBQMAN
