I did do a lot of prep work for the Backyard BBQ event and chili cookoff at the Wheel Jam car, bike and semi show next weekend. Will do chili Friday and pork loin, turkey breast and lamb leg roast on Saturday.

More importantly, my sis in law Louise and I did go on our annual "date" (along with a couple dozen other folks), to place flags at the graves of all veteran's in our local cemeteries.

Placing flags on Veteran's graves always trumps BBQ.

Two great men that I miss greatly. Dad was in the south Pacific and Grandpa was in France in the trinches.

Amen KAKid, much respect for your gesture!

I am not a vet, but my father was a Marine Force Recon in Vietnam.
