RLane22, you are making quick work of that bad boy. I really like the handle full length on the smoker. I contiplated that idea on my builds but decided against it. I like that look so maybe on my next build.

Looking great man, keep up the nice work.

Thanks TrailerBuilder. Yea I decided since it was one door this time i would go with a single handle. That door is heavy I need to figure out a design for some kind of counter weight on that door. I want to get it all together and burnt in before our friendly comp. at work on June 10th. I may not be cosmeticly correct during the cook but I think I can be ready to smoke on it.

Thanks GF. They have postponed the smokeoff until later in the year now because of restacks and reorgs going on we have allot of moves to accomplish during this time now. That gives me more time to make it cosmeticly correct.

No new pics today My youngest Graduated this weekend and I dedicated my time to her. WOW they grow up toooo fast.

I have put the finishing touches to my new smoker except for the counter balance for the door. I will post some new pics this week. my wife and kids made me quit for the day. Today is my birthday and i thought i was king for the day. lol cant complain their taking me out to eat where i want and to a movie i want to see. lol guess i better start thinking of what i want. Either way I will always know when i finished this one.

I survived my birthday and remembered to download the camera with the progress pics.

A shot of me that my daughter took to put a face with the name and smoker.

here is an idea i am trying to hold the propane bottles in place.

shelves in place and 3 hangers for whatever.

drain cut in and welded in position

temporary rack in fire pit out of scrap sucker rod left over.

vents installed on side of firebox

firebox door latch installed

wire brushed and a touch of paint

sitting out before burn in, touch up, and final paint.

still debating on counter balance weight idea for the door and some kind of covering setup.
