I was in need of a marquee for the top of my trailer and after shopping around for one with prices of 2k plus I knew that wasn't going to happen. So I looked at pictures and decided I would build my own.My PVC frame was fine but tore up my banners,So I decide that I would make one like the 30K+ units have.
First was the frame made out of L aluminum the length and width of my banner.
I attached L brackets and then tig the corners and the inside supports
Then I used some sheet steel 20Ga cut to size, and pop riveted to the frame.
Then I added a piano hinge and pop riveted it to the frame.
Painted.
added brackets to hold it upright on the trailer roof.
and then the banner
