Considering buying a Kimber 1911 full sized semi auto. Any other suggestions? I have a Ruger P90DC and am accurate with that but love the trigger on the Kimber. Any suggestions? |

Kimber is really hard to beat! Great gun. I've had a few, but now I just carry an officers model colt 45 auto. Reliable and it was a good deal. _________________ Love to BBQ and Smoke |

I have been totin an early Kimber Classic Custom for 12 yrs and I can't brag enough about it. Whatever you decide on, use good quality magazines. Very key to reliablity in any 1911.
Good Luck |

magnum research also builds a 1911 style you can also get it off of gunbroker.com for about 600. i love kimbers my main go to rifle is a kimber 25-06 i am not a big fan of there 1911 i feel they are overpriced for what they are (I feel a $hit storm coming) i would try to find a colt and have a trigger job done what model are you looking at? _________________ Club Disco

I carry a Sig 229 chambered for the 40 S&W cartridge, concealed. Works for me. _________________ Curt

Yes, my best suggestion is that you buy 2 of them. I had the 1911 tactical and wouldnt trade it for the world. (someone wanted it more than i did so they borrowed it without the intent of returning it) Loved the smooth easy pull trigger action. Shot true every time i fired it. Amazing gun _________________ Pics or it didnt happen.

If you like Kimbers trigger, you need to try Para Ordnance LDA trigger. Best trigger out there, standard. Me personally, I love my Glocks and I have 'em all. _________________ Stumps STRETCH

I've got the .44 Mag version and truly adore it.
Only word of caution is that it's not for those with poor upper body strength.

We just need pics of it once purchased. This is kinda like the foil debate...1911's have a loyal following and brands get even worse.
Have you checked out any 1911 forums to see what the word on the street is? _________________ #3 LIAR

Nightstand gun and target. I also love my Glock! The Kimbers just seem so sweet! Quite frankly if I was only concerned about trigger pull you can't beat a revolver! But I love the 230 grain hollow points! |

Don't be a wuss go get a good knife and learn to use it
If looking for a good carry gun Kimber makes a nice piece. I would also recommend looking at a Kahr p45. It is a very nice piece. _________________ "if you cant cook it in bacon grease it ain't worth eating"
