I am helping Travis with creating a new website for DPP and I would like to ask you all for a favor. We need pictures for the new website. Owners with their pits, DPPs on the job, DPPS at comps, any DPP pics at all. Some of you have already posted pics, if it is OK for me to use those, please let me know. If you have some pics you have not posted, please send them to oklahomadpp@yahoo.com and we will get them put it.
Also, if you use a DPP in compitetion, please email me your logo and we will setup a section just for your team.
To those of you that do not yet own a DDP, you know you want one , send a pic and we will put it under "Future Owners"
Thanks in advance,

Great idea Jay. I have a bunch of pictures posted on my web site, you are welcome to use any of them on there, and we have the big Lake Pleasant BBQ Cook-off this coming weekend. I know there will be a Big 40, 50 series, 60 series, & 2 70 series cooking out at it, so we should be able to get you a good range of photos.
Great idea, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Travis' new web site.
Mike

He's a mighty fine Que cook, too, Jay... If this year's comps are any sign of things to come, I think we will see ol' Patio on the top of some podium stands this next year... He got real close this past year - and it was only his first year! Only bad thing about that is that I'll be havin' to compete against him...
OR - maybe that is a bad thing for him... HEHEHEHE
We just need to find a way to get him sold on "driving" a DPP, too... Then I'd have a little "company" up in this neck of the woods... _________________ Dr. Mike

Czar, I will definitely make plans to be there next year... Way too many irons in the fire right now for me unfortunately...Just about finished with a major expansion to our office/practice, and a mom who just had open heart surgery 2 weeks ago that I am off to see in West Texas next week are what is keeping me from heading your way this weekend... Thought maybe some guys from up this way might come down there, but there is a benefit the UBBQA is holding for a young vet just recently back from Iraq this weekend as well...
Would be glad to see some weather like that for certain... As I look across the street from my house, we have snow on the ground...
Best wishes to you this weekend... _________________ Dr. Mike

Thanks so much for the very kind words Hoochie, you're a good friend and Q'r. I plan to do five comps this coming year and hope that I can rustle up a RGC or even a GC at one of them.
I would give my left (insert body part here) to be driving a DPP, but alas my budget has me stuck with my trusty WSMs and the 'ol SNP for the foreseeable future.
Take care,

I would like to thank everyone for there support. It makes me proud everytime I see someone rave over there smoker. I can't believe this is November and we're booking orders for the end of December. It generally slows down this time of year. If this is any sign of what next year will be, I think we will be overwhelmed with orders. Everytime I think we've increased production to keep up, sales increase. Thanks!! _________________ SMOKERS THAT WORK!!!

Travis
i`m happy for ya man but.. when we going to get a glimps of that elusive "Big 40" i`ve been hearing a little about.
Ya know i`ve been thinking but would like to see one first.
I can`t even buy iron around here for the prices of your smokers. would cost me more just for materials.
Give a fella a break and show us a little pic or two. My interest is at a peak. |

Travis - We've never met, but I can tell you are first class. I wish you more orders than you can handle. That is indeed a good problem to have. Given what I've read about your products, I may have to upgrade very soon.
Take care,
