Jay & Travis, I sent you 2 e-mails. One with pics of our 70 series from catering jobs and comps. and a second one with our round logo and business card front and backside. I had to send you 2 e-mails because of the file size attachment limit. I have a bunch of others and a newsletter article from a homeowners association raving about the party they did with a pic of our DPP 70 right in the middle (we just did their Halloween party this past weekend also - 375 people, pulled pork and hotdogs, & $1600 in 2 hours on-site and booked their next 3 parties a year in advance). Anyway, the article is on our website www.PIT-MASTER.com under "happy faces" and I will add more pics and articles on the DPP 70 and events we've had when I get a chance to slow down. - Vince @ Pitmasters BBQ

P.S. - I'm still "tweaking" our website so if there are any problems with it, let me know. Thanks. - Vince

The Tulsa World article with me and the Fat 50, which talks about Travis, is still up at http://www.tulsaworld.com/NewsStory.asp?ID=061018_Fa_d1_smoke_1
I PDF'ed a copy of it for future reference, if you'd care for it, Jay. I think they leave these articles up for a month or so, and then archive them, so the link will change in a few weeks, probably.

Vince, that's a good looking website. I hadn't seen it in a while. I love the blue crab. I just eat Mexican food, but after seeing your website, I believe I'm getting hungry again. _________________ SMOKERS THAT WORK!!!

Keri, I printed out the article. The wife is supposed to frame it for me, to hang on our wall of fame.
Thanks, _________________ SMOKERS THAT WORK!!!

Just an FYI, the DP Fat50 holds temps amazing even when the temp outside gets below 30. We just did a comp this weekend and the temp was 24 with a windchill of 6 degrees. I still only had to add 1 to 2 logs every 1 1/2 to 2 hours and it held between 225-275. Thank God because if I had to get up and outside every 30 minutes I don't know if I could have done it, or even the guys that helped me.
Once again, great design! _________________ Alex

Yeah, just logs, no gas, wish I could have used the propane starter in the firebox all night long, or even in our tent. _________________ Alex

I have to agree with Alex I had my series 70 DDP at the same contest right next to him. The 70 ran like a champ and held temp except for the fact that the other guy with me ended up burning a bag of charcoal and half the logs to keep himself warm. But I was able to keep it running at 225-260 the whole time. I can't stop praising Travis and this smoker because it is the greatest. In fact I'm planning on ordering a Fat 50 for next year to go along with the 70 for the smaller parties. I will send you some pictures of the contest that we have been in for the web site.
