Cooked some ribs this weekend that turned out great. One rack of beef, one of baby backs. Also did some veggie kabobs and mac n cheese.

Beef ribs ready for the rub

Half the rack rubbed up and ready for the fridge

Kabobs ready for the smoker

Everything cooking

And some pics of it all finished up

It all looks good, but you CANNOT keep us in suspense!

How did you rub, what did you cook with wood wise, and how did you cook them? Very Happy

Looks to me like a KILLER set of eats, but I'd like to know how you did all of it. I'd also LOVE a plate full of the beef ribs, which happen to be my gusto!

Looking forward to MORE of your cooks soon,

Charlie

I used a couple different rubs from a cookbook, one beef, one pork.

Cooked w/ oak splits the whole way, did 2-1.5-1 for the baby backs and about 6hrs or so for the beef. Kept it around 225-250 for the cook.

The beef ribs were actually cut off the steer on Wednesday, vaccum-sealed and taken to my fridge until Saturday when they were cooked. Came off a 15-month old angus steer, dry aged two weeks. Goooood stuff.
