I thought it would be cool to compile a list of peoples favorite smoked meats, and smoked food dishes. That way if people are looking for something to cook or to try something new they could go through the list and get some good ideas they may not have thought of. Then they can search for a recipe etc. As people add stuff to the list I will edit my original post to include their ideas.

Is there any interest in this sort of thing?

I will just start out with a few of the basics and people can go from there. If its something uncommon maybe people can include the recipe in their post, or link to the thread where it can be found???

One of my favorite things to smoke is a whole chicken with spicy pickled garlic cloves and lemon pepper, I put about a dozen or so cloves in my grinder and make a paste smear it all over the yard bird and then coat with lemon pepper, for me it is good enough to make your tongue slap your brains out.

Beef:

Sirloin tip roast
Tri-tip
Brisket
Standing rib roast aka Prime rib

Poultry:

I think everyone has pretty much summed that up Smile But I will add brined and stuffed boneless chicken breast to the list.

Pork:

Along with everything else, thick cut pork steaks. They melt in your mouth like butter!

Assorted side items:

I like making desserts in my smoker. Pineapple upside down cake, bread pudding, chocolate poke cake just to name a few.
