Been perusing this site since I got the idea to create a cooker. I'm an engineer out in San Diego. I just found a 53" long, 30" diameter (approx), 3/16' thick piece of steel tube (some of my coworkers found it out in the ocean).
So I have begun designing it in my 3D modeling software. I'm trying to figure out if I want a reverse flow or one with the box at the back.
My interests:
- Serving Christ is on the top as it should be.
- My family (wife and 4 year old) are amazing.
- My job is sweet, lots of fun stuff that gets me out of the office a bit. My mission is to keep our men and women in the EOD out of harms way as much as possible when they are surrounded by the forces of evil.
- Everything else just falls in place.
I'm from south Florida and my family has been there since the 50's. Suthern blood runs through my veins and my cookin' reflects it.
can't wait to start posting my plans, getting feedback and figuring out how to build this thing.
Cheers,

Welcome aboard.
Good to see you have your priorities straight.
Why not have a reverse flow with a box on the end and have the best of both worlds? |
