The economy will turn as it always does. Disposable income is on the rise. People like to spend money on toys.
I cant tell ya what or how to run your business but... i would start small & keep it small. Run out of your garage at home if you have too. Build em one at a time as ordered. Good things come to those who wait. You have a great design.
Where ever i tow the big 40 around people always have to ask me about it. When ever we vend car show`s the big 40 get`s as much attention as the cars. The reaction is the same... they walk up looking at it with a smile on there face. "where`d ya get that" ?.... "how does it work" ?

To be honest i think i would loose business if i didn't have a Diamond Plate Products Smoker to draw there attention! Wink

You dont know how happy this makes me. My Fat 50 got rear ended and totaled a little more than 2 years ago and I've been wanting to get another one.

Love my DPP Fat 50 Squared. I'm thinking about selling it just due to the fact that with other obligations and family I'm not able to compete that much or cook any big functions. Mostly only smoking for family and friends get togethers so a lot of wasted space when only making a brisket or a few racks of ribs. It has put out some very quality Q and has placed me in Top 5 many times in contests.

I have been a proud owner of my FAT 50 for almost seven years now. I could really use a 70 Wink

I recently saw a FAT 50 for sale in Northern Ca. It was only used a couple of times and stored away. Sold for $2,500. I almost bought it just for the price alone. Unfortunately, I couldn't store two.

Steve, any biz is tough. Good luck with your endeavors. But just make sure you keep your products top quality.

I'm happy to hear you are back on your feet, good luck, break a bottle over the first one and sacrifice a little beer, wine or champagne to the Earth when you roll the first one off the line! Wink Laughing Wink

Hi Travis, do you have the website up and running? If so, what is the URL? If not I am looking forward to viewing it.
