This meal usually comes with a special occasion, but tonight the occasion was that it has been just too long.

Wow, surf and turf. One of my favs. Something you can enjoy so much with very little time to make it. Just the way i like it too. Steak and shrimp on its own with no extra ingredients. Great job, thanks for posting, i really enjoyed it. _________________ WSM 18.5"

Hey Toby,
I love the pics you send. Everything always looks incredible. A couple of things--how is the steak seasoning? I've been wanting to try some. Also--what do you put on your shrimp? They are incredible looking. _________________ Jesse Gabbard

Hey - thanks for the nice compliments! Regarding the steak seasoning, I really enjoy it. I like it on burgers too!
As for the shrimp, I like to keep them extremely simple. A very LIGHT dusting of old bay seasoning and then on a hot grill for about 30 seconds per side. The cook really fast. You don't want to overcook them or they will taste rubbery. I can honestly say that I haven't been able to cook the "perfect" shrimp on the grill, but I'm getting better at it. I think the secret is clarified butter to brush on while cooking, but I haven't tried it yet.
Good luck!

Thanks for the info! I may order some seasoning AND try the butter on the shrimp. They look amazing!
