I'm having a few friends over for the Raven's vs. Steeler's game tomorrow and I'm firing up the Pro-Q for something tasty. I'm thinking ribs and a fried turkey.
What's everyone else got planned for the big game? |

Frank's Hot Wings (Blue Cheese and Ranch Dipping Sauce), Chips with Homemade Pico de Gallo and plenty of Busch Beer.
For the wimps, fry up some seasoned burger and make taco salads. I already cheated and got the shells from Taco Bell. Why not? For $.50 each and they even threw in the boxes. _________________ Gunny 3073/4044/8411

TGS2, it will be pretty simple for us, achit load of chicken thighs, homemade smoked links simmmering in sauce on the pit, along with saute onions and mushrooms on a bun. _________________ I'm not 50 yrs. old I'm 21 with 29 yrs. experience.

Good food, good tequila & s--t beer. You need to reconsider my fellow Georgia inhabitant. The locals brew much better stuff.

It's my son's 15th birthday tomorrow so he gets to dictate the menu. While he's my #1 BBQ fan/critic, what he wants is my butternut squash ravioli in brown butter sauce and a vanilla/chocolate swirl cheesecake.
I'm sure we'll find something to smoke on Sunday, but tomorrow's his call. Somehow, I think a few racks of ribs or a brisket would be easier in terms of labor/man hours. |
